This work reflects on the paradoxical role that reading and writing have acquired as mechanisms of emotional resistance against the uncertainty and isolation experienced for over one year now. Furthermore, reading and writing have also become exhausting tasks while being productive under the current circumstances sometimes feels pointless and futile.
